Surprise, Surprise!

Who didn’t see this coming? According to a CBS poll conducted by CBS’ 60 Minutes – now that’s a right wing group if there ever was one – only 15 percent of the Americans polled stated they would agree with the United States declaring war on Iran if Israel was attacked by the rogue nation.

Then there is the headline that says, “Saudi Would Allow Israel to Use Their Air Space to Attack Iran.” These are two opposite worlds in every way. Saudi, the Muslim nation and the home of the original black box where I think Mohammed is supposed to be buried – or is it his horse? – and a nation of no freedom for anyone except the greasy, oil drenched sheiks, say they’ll give Israel the green light to take out Iran’s nuclear installations.

Then there is the United States that has been the playground referee for the entire world, the only country – except Israel – with a mop in its hand to clean up the mess other nations make, and one of the most benevolent countries in the world, yet we say “no!” Is it because we are tired of fighting the fight for the rest of the world? Is it because we are still engaged in a never ending war to take out terrorist who want to destroy us – the Big Satan – and Israel – the Little Satan?

US. backs Palestinian airport near Jerusalem

Construction could affect outcome of future agreement with Israel The Obama administration supports the concept of the Palestinian Authority opening an airport near Jerusalem, according to PA sources speaking to WND.

The PA is planning to start the infrastructure of the airport in the town of al Buqya, between Jerusalem and the Jordan Valley. WND has learned that PA official Saadi el-Krunz is heading the PA campaign to raise money for the airport.

In line with the demand that Israel freeze all Jewish construction in the West Bank and eastern section of Jerusalem, WND has learned that the U.S. is aiding the Palestinians in building infrastructure in largely Arab eastern Jerusalem neighborhoods controlled by Israel.

In so doing, the U.S. is working with the PA to change the facts on the ground, which could affect the outcome of a future Israel Palestinian agreement.

The U.S. is now facing Americanization of terror threa

“The U.S. is arguably now little different from Europe in terms of having a domestic terrorist problem involving immigrant and indigenous Muslims as well as converts to Islam.”
U.S. faces “Americanization” of terror threatNine years after the September 11 attacks, the United States faces a growing threat from home-grown insurgents and an “Americanization” of al Qaeda leadership, according to a report released on Friday.

Former heads of the 9/11 Commission that studied the 2001 attacks on New York and Washington presented the 43-page study, describing it as a wake-up call about the radicalization of Muslims in the United States and the changing strategy of al Qaeda and its allies.

“The threat that the U.S. is facing is different than it was nine years ago,” said the report, released by the Washington-based Bipartisan Policy Center.

Judge cites homeschoolers for violating U.N. mandate

Police interrogate parents, confiscate their curriculum

An international organization that has fought pitched battles over parents’ rights to educate their own children in Germany, Sweden and the United States, as well as lesser fights in a number of other countries, is taking on officialdom in Botswana after police there grilled homeschoolers, confiscated their teaching materials and ordered them to appear in court.

The Home School Legal Defense Association, based in the United States, also is asking its members to become part of the fight by contacting not only the Botswana embassy but also the office of the African nation’s president to express alarm over the developments. Contact information is being posted on the organization’s website.

The HSLDA reported four families in Mahalapye, Botswana, are facing an uncertain future that may be determined as early as a Sept. 9 court hearing they are being required to attend.

U.S. now fighting two border wars

Smugglers cross over from Canada, infiltrating even deep into Midwest

The images of weapons stockpiles and drug-cartel mayhem may not be coming from Mexican and southern U.S. border cities much longer, according to experts who say the continuing criminal enterprises are moving north, and already have reached both Middle America and the nation’s northern perimeter.

Americans for Legal Immigration President William Gheen says the extent and reach of the drug- and human-smuggling networks goes farther than most Americans realize.

“There are Mexican gangs and cartels operating in the United States in places that you wouldn’t expect. The pictures that have come in over the last couple of years are disturbing,” Gheen said,

If attacked, Iran will annihilate US

A top Iranian commander has warned that in the event of a US-led military attack on Iran, the Islamic Republic will go after the United States until its “annihilation.”

“If Americans attempt to launch an attack against the sacred establishment of the Islamic Republic, they will encounter our firm and decisive defense and we will not let them off,” commander of the anti-aircraft post of the Khatamolanbia Headquarters Brigadier General Ahmad Miqani said Saturday.

He went on to add that the US had been issuing threats against Iran for the past 31 years and “such threats are propaganda and psychological warfare.”

Why Obama is a cultural Muslim

President Obama is betraying the Jews. He is a cultural Muslim whose sympathies lie with the Islamic world in its life-death struggle against Israel. Unless American Jews wake up and speak out against Mr. Obama’s pro-Arab, anti-Israel policies, the Jewish state faces a possible nuclear war – and even annihilation.

Mr. Obama met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week. The goal: to repair the public rift in relations between Washington and Jerusalem.

$14 Trillion debt destroying US like ‘Cancer from within’

The heads of President Barack Obama’s national debt commission painted a gloomy picture Sunday as the United States struggles to get its spending under control.

Republican Alan Simpson and Democrat Erskine Bowles told a meeting of the National Governors Association that everything needs to be considered — including curtailing popular tax breaks, such as the home mortgage deduction, and instituting a financial trigger mechanism for gaining Medicare coverage.

The nation’s total federal debt next year is expected to exceed $14 trillion — about $47,000 for every U.S. resident.

“This debt is like a cancer,” Bowles said in a sober presentation nonetheless lightened by humorous asides between him and Simpson. “It is truly going to destroy the country from within.”

Simpson said the entirety of the nation’s current discretionary spending is consumed by the Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security programs.

“The rest of the federal government, including fighting two wars, homeland security, education, art, culture, you name it, veterans, the whole rest of the discretionary budget, is being financed by China and other countries,” said Simpson. China alone currently holds $920 billion in U.S. IOUs.

Obama serves 14-state governors with warnings of arrest

Barack Hussein Obama has served 14-State Governors in the United States, National Security Letters (NSLs) warning that the Governor’s actions in attempting to form “State Defense Forces” needs to be halted “immediately” or they will face arrest for the crime of treason. The employment of NSLs was authorized by the Patriot Act introduced by George W. Bush. Contained within the section related to these letters, it is forbidden for anyone receiving a NSL warning to even acknowledge the existence of said communication.

Washington is hyping the threat to justify regulating the Internet

Networks have been under attack — and successfully handled by operators — as long as they’ve been around. Be wary of calls for more government supervision of the Internet.

We marched into Baghdad on flimsy evidence and we might be about to make the same mistake in cyberspace.

Over the past few weeks, there has been a steady drumbeat of alarmist rhetoric about potential threats online. At a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing this month, chairman Carl Levin said that “cyberweapons and cyberattacks potentially can be devastating, approaching weapons of mass destruction in their effects.”

The increased consternation began with the suspected Chinese breach of Google’s servers earlier this year. Since then, press accounts, congressional pronouncements, and security industry talk have increasingly sown panic about an amorphous cyberthreat.
