Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Wednesday that US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are encouraging the demonstrators to protest against the regime in Tehran, echoing Iran’s claims that Israel and the United States are the driving force behind the violent protests.sorts the way that the Iranian government is handling the wave of protests, which began on Friday. On Tuesday, US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley praised the protesters, echoing the support they have already received from President Donald Trump. Haley slammed the Iranian leaders’ attempts to blame the protests on external forces. “We all know that’s complete nonsense,” she said. “The demonstrations are completely spontaneous. They are virtually in every city in Iran. This is the precise picture of a long-oppressed people’s rising up against their dictators.”
