JERUSALEM – Members of the most active West Bank terror organization are set to serve in security forces being deployed to protect Sen. Barack Obama during his trip to the West Bank tomorrow, WND has learned.
Obama is due to visit Israeli officials in Jerusalem and leaders of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank city of Ramallah as part of a wider Middle Eastern and European tour that includes Jordan, France and Germany.
According to security officials coordinating deployments of forces with the PA for Obama's Ramallah visit, members of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, Fatah's declared military wing, have been called upon by the PA to participate in the protection of Obama, particularly in securing the perimeter during a scheduled meeting with PA President Mahmoud Abbas.

It has been a week since I blew the whistle on Barack Obama's secret $439 billion plan for a mysterious initiative called the "civilian national security force."
We don't know any more about this plan than we did when Obama announced it July 2 in a speech, with the relevant part covered by almost no media with the exception of the Chicago Tribune and Congressional Quarterly.
Thanks, however, to talk radio and legions of bloggers, Obama's chilling call to create a "civilian national security force" with a price tag equaling that of the Defense Department is beginning to get more attention.
It was in the context of announcing a plan to expand rapidly and dramatically the size of the Peace Corps and AmeriCorps that Obama dropped this bombshell: "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

The purported Certification of Live Birth published by the Daily Kos left wing blog and claimed as genuine by the Obama campaign features a security border that differs dramatically from security borders on COLB documents before and after the one supposedly printed out for Obama in 2007. 
Barack Obama may be on a world tour surrounded by a fawning media, but Sunday an expert in electronic document forensics released a detailed report on the purported birth certificate -- actually a "Certification of Live Birth" or COLB -- claimed as genuine by his campaign. The expert concludes with 100% certainty that it is a crudely forged fake: "a horribly forgery," according to the analysis published on the popular right-wing Atlas Shrugs blog.

Candidate's trademark 'O' replaces stars and stripes

As part of a month-long aircraft makeover, a painted American flag was removed from the tail of Sen. Barack Obama's official campaign airplane and was replaced with the presidential candidate's trademark "O" symbol.
The refurbished 757 was unveiled to members of the news media today, 41 of whom boarded the craft and took off to meet Obama in Amman, Jordan, where the presidential candidate will stop as part of a Middle Eastern and European tour.
Obama traveled to the Mideast earlier this week on board a separate airplane.

'For a split second they were distracted and I opened fire'
A Christian missionary whose book "Shooting Back" describes his encounter with heavily armed terrorists who attacked his church in 1993 and how he repelled them by firing back with his .38 special once again fought off an attempted hijacking by returning fire.
The latest attack came while Charl van Wyk of Frontline Fellowship ministries in Cape Town, South Africa, was traveling to record a radio program with creation science lecturer Philip Stott during the Reclaiming Africa for Christ Biblical Worldview Summit.

What I had not realized was that there was a third party covering them from a distance. He returned fire. I heard Sipho shouting, 'Charl get down!' I took cover behind the vehicle at the driver's door, which I opened; Sipho and I jumped in and we drove off as fast as possible. By God's grace none of us was hit by flying bullets, and the mission vehicle was undamaged."

 July 21 (Bloomberg) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez heads to Moscow today to shop for air defense systems, submarines and other weaponry as Latin America's arms race quickens amid signs that his regional influence is waning.
Past Venezuelan arms purchases from Russia have strengthened ties with Moscow as its rivalry with the U.S. intensifies over President George W. Bush's plans for an Eastern Europe missile defense system and other issues. Chavez, 53, also plans to visit Belarus, a Russian ally that the U.S. considers a dictatorship.
Chavez ``regularly refers to us as an `empire,' opposes our initiatives in the Americas and seeks out our adversaries as friends and allies,'' Assistant U.S. Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs Thomas Shannon said July 17 in testimony to a congressional committee.

A TERRITORY politician has added weight to growing claims there are UFOs flying around in Darwin's rural area.
Independent MLA Gerry Wood said he saw a strange object fly across the sky above Howard Springs early Wednesday morning.
"It was a dark grey object and it was flying parallel to the ground - it lit up white at the front for a short period, maybe one or two seconds, and then the light disappeared and the object melted with the sky," he said.
Mr Wood, a self-confessed sceptic, said the object moved across the sky at a tremendous rate, but he didn't believe it was a plane.
"There wasn't a sound, not even a whisper," he said.
"There was no trail of sparks like you see with a shooting star, it was just a white glow at the front and underneath. I know that people won't believe this because, for starters, I'm a politician ... that puts me in the category of 'what a load of crap'.
