View Article  US gets Israeli security for Super Bowl
While coaches worry about how to protect their quarterbacks on the field come Super Bowl Sunday, an Israeli-developed system for identifying potential security threats has been adopted at nearby Miami International Airport to help keep visitors to South Florida safe.
Rafi Ron, CEO of New Age Security Solutions in Rockville, Maryland, and former director of security at Ben-Gurion Airport and the Israel Airports Authority, developed Behavior Pattern Recognition as an answer to the problem of racial profiling.
BPR outlines a long list of behavioral cues that should draw the attention of everyone working at the airport - for example, noticing whether a passenger seems overly stressed or uncomfortable.
"In many cases, civilian employees do not have the confidence to report most covertly suspicious behavior," Ron said. "We are arming them to report the behavior, report it correctly and to the right department."
New Age Solutions was contracted to "train the trainers" at Miami International Airport. In January 2006, the firm trained officers from the Miami-Dade County Police Department, who are stationed at the facility. As part of the preparations to host this weekend's Super Bowl XLI, Miami International Airport has become the first airport in the world to offer training ...   more »
View Article  Top Iranian nuke scientist,'assassinated by Mossad'
© 2007 WorldNetDaily.com
The mysterious death last month of a top Iranian nuclear physicist involved with the Islamic Republic's current effort to enrich uranium was the work of Mossad, the Israeli security service, a leading U.S. intelligence company claims.
The death of Ardeshir Hassanpour, 44, a nuclear scientist, was not announced until Jan. 21, six days after his death, according to Radio Farda. The official cause of death was reported as "gas poisoning," but Iranian authorities did not disclose how or where Hassanpour was poisoned. The announcement, reports said, came at a conference on nuclear safety.
Hassanpour claimed Iran's most prestigious military-research prize in 2004 and received the top award at an international science event in Iran in 2006.
According to the London Times, Stratfor, a U.S. security company, reported on Friday that its sources within Israel identified Hassanpour as a Mossad target and said "very strong intelligence" suggested the security service had assassinated the scientist.
As WND reported, Israel has warned Tehran it would not be permitted to threaten the Jewish state with annihilation.
Hassanpour worked at the Isfahan plant that produces uranium-hexafluoride gas, a raw material for the enrichment of uranium at the Natanz facility which has become ...   more »
View Article  New Evidence Ties Former Soviet Spy's Death to American Hiroshima
by Paul L. Williams and Jeffrey M. Epstein
New evidence has come to light that Alexander Litvinenko may have been involved with Islamic terrorists in the preparation of tactical nuclear weapons for use in the jihad against the United States and its NATO allies.
Litvinenko, a former KGB agent, died in London on November 23 after ingesting a microscopic amount of polonium-210.
Investigators have now uncovered the following:
Litvinenko was a Muslim convert with reported ties to radical Islam.
The former Soviet spy masterminded the smuggling of radioactive material to Zurich in 2000. This finding was corroborated by Mario Scaramella, one of Litvinenko's business associates.
Litvinenko became closely allied with Boris Berezovsky, a Russian billionaire who established close ties with the Chechen leaders, and Chechen leader Ahmed Zakayev. Both men served as pallbearers at the funeral. Several years ago, Berezovsky boasted to the press that the Chechen separatists had acquired a portable nuclear weapon that lacked one "minor" component. That component, Scotland Yard officials now believe, was polonium-210.
In a deathbed statement, Litvinenko blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for the poisoning -- an accusation which the Kremlin has vehemently denied.
The denial was contradicted by the fact that polonium-210 ...   more »
View Article  Imam leads Democrats,in prayer of conversion
With heads bowed reverently, Democrats were led in prayer yesterday by a Muslim imam who essentially asked Allah to assist in converting the party members to Islam, according to a scholar and author.
Robert Spencer, director of Jihad Watch and author of "The Truth about Muhammad," took note of the prayer given at the Democratic National Committee winter meeting by Husham Al-Husainy, imam of the Karbalaa Islamic Education Center, a shiite mosque in Dearborn, Mich. According to a transcript of the prayer, which can be seen on a video clip provided by HotAir.com, the imam said:
In the name of God the most merciful, the most compassionate. We thank you, God, to bless us among your creations. We thank you, God, to make us as a great nation. We thank you God, to send us your messages through our father Abraham and Moses and Jesus and Muhammad. Through you, God, we unite. So guide us to the right path. The path of the people you bless, not the path of the people you doom. Help us God to liberate and fill this earth with justice and peace and love and equality. And help us to stop the war and violence, ...   more »
View Article  A Plea to US Christians - Stop Iran & Save Israel and the West!!

The clock is ticking, yet no one wishes to hear it. The countdown to a nuclear Iran has begun, and with each passing day the nightmare scenario draws ever closer to becoming a reality.
In just a few months' time, if all goes according to plan, the tyrant of Teheran will preside over a celebration of terrifying, and history-altering, significance.
His goal, as he has stated repeatedly in recent weeks, is to complete the installation of thousands of centrifuges, the devices used to enrich uranium, by the end of March 2007.
This will give the ayatollahs the ability to start producing nuclear weapons, and to spread nuclear terror far and wide, threatening the existence not only of Israel, but of Western civilization itself.
The would-be Hitler of Persia has already made it abundantly clear that he plans to wipe Israel and its millions of Jews off the map. And last week he told Western leaders that their turn would soon be next: "If you do not respond to the divine call," he warned, "you will die soon and vanish from the face of the earth."
Three months. That's all we've got. That's all that stands right now between the world ...   more »

Failed leadership at fault for needless deaths in Lebanon, on our streets
This week's Eilat terror attack was a harsh reminder of the urgent need for the Winograd Committee conclusions. A people under constant threat of attack must know that its leaders are consumed with concern for them. A nation in an ongoing state of war must be reassured that its decision-makers are never distracted from the top priority: Protecting us from our enemies. The Winograd Committee is no mere formality. Its anticipated grim findings will impact us all. But nobody will feel the brunt more than the parents of soldiers killed in the Second Lebanon War. It is painful enough to endure the loss of a child at the hands of an enemy. But to live with the knowledge that their deaths could have been prevented by our leaders is unbearable. Far too many bereaved parents in this country carry that burden. Their conviction that many casualties were entirely avoidable will apparently soon be confirmed. But the culprits - poor judgment, irresponsibility, indifference - did not make their debut this past August. Sadly, they have been claiming lives for several years now. Many of the more than 1,000 Israelis killed by ...   more »

View Article  Sanhedrin Rabbis Slam Proceedings Against Ramon, Katzav

IsraelNN.com) The rabbis of the renewed Sanhedrin - the ancient Jewish High Court - have issued a statement condemning the criminal proceedings against President Moshe Katzav and former minister Chaim Ramon. The Ramon verdict is a judicial evil, said the rabbis. “After the complainant’s picture was published as it was published,” they said, “there is no reason to expect different behavior on the part of the defendant, in a society in which there is no fear of God and moral restraint.” The rabbis said President Katzav was also being denied a fair trial. “The credibility of witnesses, including their professions and personalities, the way testimony was acquired, the ways in which certain witnesses were prevented from giving evidence… are enough to rule out any possibility of achieving justice,” they said.

View Article  Chavez and the 'Ezekiel Option'

This week, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez was handed unrestricted authority to rule his nation by decree. Venezuela's new parliament passed, and Chavez signed, the "Enabling Act" and put an end to any hopes of a democratic end to his rule. Chavez is expected to exercise the absolute power granted him to nationalize all private oil and gas operations now operating in his territory. Chavez also has plans to take state control of Venezuela's biggest telecommunications company and electricity providers, to revamp banking and zap the rich with new taxes with a goal of ensuring ''the equal distribution of wealth." In short, Chavez is assuming the role of America's new Castro, but Venezuela is no Cuba. Cuba cost America some banana and sugar plantations and the very rich had to find someplace else to gamble, but by and large, Castro hurt Cuba a lot more than he hurt the United States. Chavez is what Castro would have been if he had been sitting on one of the richest oil fields in the world: an enemy too dangerous to live with, and too expensive for us to live without. Venezuela is America's fifth largest supplier of oil. And Chavez owns (or will ...   more »

View Article  Former Instructor Warns Of Yoga's Spiritual Implications

Jim BrownAn ex-yoga teacher turned Christian evangelist says he is disturbed by the growing popularity of yoga programs in schools. He feels adding Hindu-influenced yoga regimens to public school curriculums is not only dangerous but also violates the Constitution’s Establishment Clause.More than 100 public and private schools across the U.S. are reportedly teaching yoga to young people using a secular curriculum developed by a California woman named Tara Guber. The program she developed for school kids uses terms like "bunny breathing" for yogic panting and "time-in" for meditation. But innocuous as the program may sound, one former yoga instructor says Guber’s curriculum and others like it are a bad idea.Mike Shreve was a teacher of yoga and meditation at four universities before he was "saved" out of Eastern religions and went on to found a Christian ministry called The True Light Project. He sees some definite dangers in introducing such programs to young people in U.S. schools."First of all I believe it is a violation of the commitment this nation has made to the separation of church and state,” Shreve says. “And secondly,” he notes, “I'm surprised that so many schools have started using this in their curriculum -- apparently ...   more »
