They’re not Arabs. Like Iraq’s Kurds or North Africa’s Amazigh (Berbers).
The title of a recent AP news brief read, “EU May Not Heed Darfur Call.” While the European sycophants of medieval Arab oil sheiks, who recently sentenced a gang rape victim to jail and two hundred lashes, have and will be pouring in billions of dollars in aid and such to support the birth of Arab state # 22 ( 2nd, not 1st, Arab one in “Palestine”), predictably, all they mostly have to offer to support victims of out right Arab murder and racism is hot air. After the Arabs burst out of the Arabian Peninsula in the 7th century C.E. and slaughtered, conquered, and forcibly Arabized millions of non-Arab peoples in the process, the Sudan (Nubia, etc.) held out for quite some time. In other parts of non-Arab North Africa, native Jews aligned with “Berbers” to resist this conquest as well. Back in the ‘60s when I was starting college, the Arab-Israeli conflict, as usual, never left center stage. After the ‘67 Six Day War--when Israel turned the tables on the latest Arab attempt on its life big time--Israel lost its status as David to the Arab Goliath ... more »

RAMALLAH, West Bank - Palestinian forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas are training to crack down on Hamas terrorism at a Russian secret service base in Moscow. Fearing a West Bank coup by Hamas similar to the bloody takeover of the Gaza Strip last July, the Palestinian Authority has created an elite new counterterror unit called Al Himaya Wal Isnad (Protection and Reinforcement). Twenty-five intel officers were deployed to Moscow for a 30-day course that includes weapons training, rescuing hostages and arresting armed suspects. The instructors were attached to the elite Russian anti-terrorist Alpha commando unit that won its spurs combating extremist Muslim Chechen rebels. "We are learning how to confront Hamas; they are the greatest threat to the Palestinian Authority," said one officer in the new unit. Similar courses are being held in France, Germany and Algeria, with plans to send some dozens of Palestinian security personnel abroad each month. "They are getting good training over there," said Dr. Ibrahim Khraishi, an assistant minister in the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Tensions between the Fatah movement of Abbas and Hamas have been simmering since the Islamic movement took control of the Gaza Strip in June. They ... more »

Iran tested a newly-developed ballistic missile on the day of the Annapolis conference, Channel 10 reported Wednesday. The Ashoura missile has a range of 2,000 kilometers and is capable of reaching Israel, US Army bases in the Middle East and eastern European cities, including Moscow, said the TV channel. According to the report, the new missile is an improvement on the existing Shihab-3 missile. The Ashoura uses solid fuel instead of the Shihab's liquid fuel, giving it a significantly faster launch sequence which is harder to detect. Iranian Defense Minister Gen. Mostafa Muhammad-Najjar had announced the development of the new missile on the day of the summit, but had not specified whether it had actually been tested. According to the country's IRNA news agency, Najjar said the missile was named the "Ashoura," meaning "the tenth day" in Farsi - a sacred reference among Shi'ite Muslims to the martyrdom of the third imam. The Iranian defense minister said that "the production of the new missile was one of the Defense Ministry's greatest achievements." Analysts believe much of Iran's military production has benefited from assistance from Russia, China and other countries, but many of their weapons development claims have not been independently ... more »

Huckabee Keeps Quiet on Romney’s Religion NBC Political Analyst Launches Rage Attack on Romney’s ‘Religion’ Speech Flashback: Romney Debates Mormon Faith With Radio Host Reuters: Huckabee questions tenet of Romney's Mormon faith AP: Huckabee's 1992 Words Get New Attention UPI: Romney ad takes aim at Huckabee WASHINGTON (AP) - Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee, an ordained Southern Baptist minister, asks in an upcoming article, "Don't Mormons believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers?" The article, to be published in Sunday's New York Times Magazine, says Huckabee asked the question after saying he believes Mormonism is a religion but doesn't know much about it. His rival Mitt Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, is a member of the Mormon church, which is known officially as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The authoritative Encyclopedia of Mormonism, published in 1992, does not refer to Jesus and Satan as brothers. It speaks of Jesus as the son of God and of Satan as a fallen angel, which is a Biblical account. A spokeswoman for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints said Huckabee's question is usually raised by those who wish to smear the Mormon faith ... more »

Jeanne Assam DENVER – The female security guard who shot and stopped a gunman at a Colorado Springs church yesterday is crediting God for helping her to resolve the threat by killing the assailant. Jeanne Assam was hailed by Pastor Brady Boyd with saving many lives in her quick response to gunshots fired at the New Life Church. "I give the credit to God, and I mean that, I say that very humbly, God was with me the whole time I was behind cover," she told reporters. "It seemed like it was me, the gunman and God." Assam indicated she felt weak as she approached the gunman, since she had been fasting. "My hands weren't even shaking. I knew what I had to do," she said. "This has got to be God, because of the firepower that [the gunman] had versus what I had – was God. I did not run away, and I didn't think for a minute to run away. I just knew that I was given the assignment to end this before it got too much worse. I just prayed for the Holy Spirit to guide me." Assam said she's drawn her weapon countless ... more »

9 House members praise Islamic faith, won't recognize Christian observance
By Bob Unruh U.S. Rep Diana DeGette, D-Colo. Only weeks after voting for a resolution that "recognizes the Islamic faith as one of the great religions of the world," nine Democrats in the U.S. House refused to vote for a Christmas resolution that condemns the worldwide persecution of Christians. U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette, D-Colo., was on the list of those who endorsed the statement recognizing Islam, but refused to support the Christmas resolution that noted the holiday "is celebrated annually by Christians throughout the United States and around the world." The Christmas resolution, like the Ramadan resolution, decried the violence that targets religion around the world. A spokesman for DeGette told WND her vote was because the Ramadan resolution, which she endorsed, was about "rejecting religious extremism and promoting of religious tolerance." The spokesman, Chris Aaron, however, said DeGette is a "strong supporter of separation of church and state and her view was that Congress should not favor one religion over another. "She felt this resolution (recognizing Christmas and condemning persecution of Christians) promoted Christianity over other religions," he told WND. Other Democrats who supported the acknowledgment of Islam's Ramadan ... more »

A rabidly antisemitic "Christian" charity organization in England is selling specially modified nativity scenes in the run-up to Christmas this year. Amos Trust is also spewing a whole lot of slander in a special "Bethlehem Christmas Pack" available from its website. According to a report by CNS News, the nativity model being sold by the Amos Trust is of Bethlehem at the time of Jesus' birth, with a wall running through the town. Made by Arabs in Bethlehem, it is meant to depict the security fence Israel has been erecting in order to safeguard its citizens from Palestinian terrorists infiltrating from what the world calls the "West Bank." Amos Trust says that the wall in its nativity scene will ensure that "the wise men won't get to the stable." Demand for this model is high, it crows. The first batch is already sold out. The anti-Israel inference is clear, and echoes similar sentiments echoed at Christmas time in past years. Israel's enemies in the west - among whom the British rank near the top - often accuse Israel of destroying the "spirit of Christmas." "If Mary and Joseph tried to enter Bethlehem today Israel's soldiers would turn ... more »

Once terribly divided, Jews and Christians are finding a new unity as the walls between them are coming down. Why is this happening? Primarily for two reasons. Number one because Christians seem to be the only ones standing with Israel these days. As Avi Lipkin says, "Jews are finding that Christians are our only friends." Number two because of the mutually held concern over the violation of religious freedom that is increasing in America, Jews are standing with Christians over the assault against Christmas, and the rise of discrimination against Christianity -- something they understand well. Rabbi Aryeh Spero of Caucus for America has talked on our show about what's at stake in the battle over Christmas, and why Jews need to speak up for Christmas. His articles on the subject are worthy reads, such as This Christmas Don't Let Them Turn Off the Lights, Once Upon a Time When Americans Had Christmas and Our Battle for the Soul of America. Ted Belman, Editor of Israpundit, is another Jew who is speaking up for Christmas. Barry Farber's article Jews for Christmas had a surprising effect on me. He is so bold in his advocacy for "a vigorous ... more »
