By israelinsider staff and partners  August 10, 2005

The multi-service division-level training exercise for the security forces which are assigned to evict Jews from Gaza and northern Samaria had to be halted this afternoon by commanders due to excessive violence by trainees.
The commanders of the Caracal Battalion halted the exercise, being held in Kerem Shalom in southern Gaza, after soldiers of the Border Guard units taking part were overly violent in their handling of the mock evacuees. Soldiers ordered to play the role of Gush Katif and Samaria residents were told to demonstrate "active resistance."
A journalist assigned to the Caracal Batallion reported in ynet that he heard a border policeman say that "if the settlers will be as aggressive as the soldiers, we will break their hands."

View Article  Why we, as Christians, wear Orange
By Stan Goodenough   August 10, 2005
I am a Gentile South African. My wife is a Gentile Czech. Our five children are Jerusalem-born, but because they are Gentile they are half South African, half Czech. We are a Christian family; living our lives according to the teachings of that great Jewish Rabbi, Jesus of Nazareth.

As often as I can get it washed and dried, I wear my Orange t-shirt with the cry on its back admonishing that "Jews do not expel Jews." I am a Christian. It breaks my heart to see what the Jewish people are doing to each other. It hurts to see where Israel is heading."
"We oppose the destruction of the Jewish state and the people of Israel."

View Article  Gaza community leaders refuse to deliver army eviction notices to residents
Last night the IDF (Israel Defence Forces) issued two letters to Gush Katif leaders of every community. According to media reports, the community leaders refused to deliver them to Gush Katif residents. (See original Hebrew documents.) Gusg
Residents told Arutz-7 that they refuse to receive the letters due to the fact that they consider them to be "a cheap media ploy by the security establishment." The leadership of the Gaza Coast Municipality, which received the letters in bulk and was instructed to distribute them, said "The army stands poised to throw the residents into the street and wants us to be the tools for this mission. We will not cooperate with this act."
In response to the refusal to distribute the letter, IDF soldiers at Kissufim Crossing handed out copies of the letter Tuesday to cars passing through the checkpoint there.
