On the 13th of June 2005 thousands of people from throughout Israel came to the valiant community of Sa-Nur in the heart of the Shomron to express their solidarity and support.  On the same day fifteen new families joined the existing community in an all-out attempt to thwart the Israeli government's intention to uproot and destroy the community.

Our intrepid photographer, Yakov Ben-Avraham, joined the throngs and captured the color, enthusiasm and belief of all who came to Sa-Nur that day.

Recently returned from a visit to the Jewish communities of Gush Katif and the Northern Shomron, Battalion of Deborah activist Jodie Anderson shares these photographs.
