Thousands will rally for Israel
Monday, April 11th, 2005, 1:00pm – 3:30pm
Crawford, Texas
TO SUPPORT ISRAEL’S SURVIVAL AND OPPOSE A PALESTINIAN TERRORIST STATE

President George W. Bush has invited Prime Minister of Israel Ariel Sharon to the Crawford Ranch on April 11th. The prime topic of discussion will be the Disengagement Plan and the Road Map. Both leaders agree on the principle of a two-state solution to the Arab/Palestinian conflict.

Members of the Unity Coalition for Israel, an alliance of more than 200 Christian and Jewish organizations throughout the United States, representing millions of Americans, have taken a firm position in opposition to this concept, predicting along with leaders of the Israel Defense Force (IDF), Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, heroic Russian dissident and now member of Sharon's Cabinet, Natan Sharansky, and other knowledgeable security experts in Israel, that the minute land is unilaterally given to the Palestinians a new war is expected to break out.

The Palestinians have not renounced terrorism, only put it temporarily on hold. Giving land and U.S. taxpayer dollars to dispossess thousands of families of Jews who have resided in Gaza, Judea and Samaria for several generations is not popular in the United States. The evacuation of 9-10,000 Jews from Gaza and the Shomron is regarded by the Palestinians as a reward for 4½ years of murderous brutality in the ongoing global jihad against Christians, Jews and other non-Muslims.

Guests arriving from Israel include victims of terror, think-tank members, college professors, and other outstanding spokesmen who will be flying to Crawford direct from Israel.

Rally buses will be arriving from Colorado, Oklahoma, throughout the state of Texas and as far away as New York. Buses will also be leaving from the Dallas-Fort Worth airport.

Esther Levens, CEO & Founder of the Unity Coalition for Israel said:

“This will be a peaceful demonstration, appealing to both countries' leaders to reconsider their stand in view of the fact that major violence can erupt from this threat to Israel's very existence. The U.S. must be consistent in our war against terror. We must not fight terror in Iraq and Afghanistan and at the same time promote Palestinian terror against Israel. Carving a Palestinian state out of the heartland of Israel, as a reward for killing the people of that nation, makes no sense.”

Dr. James Vineyard, Pastor from Oklahoma City, Windsor Hills Baptist Church, organizer of the entire rally, who has worked tirelessly to coordinate all efforts, had this to say:

“We, as a nation, are at war with radical Islamic terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq. Now comes the Saudi-originated, European Union approved, Tony Blair-approved, pro-Arab U.S. State Department Road Map–Disengagement Plan. Israel, with American complicity, is about to establish the “world's largest terrorist protected base”. This Saudi-originated plan must be stopped.

“Come to the rally. Bring a carload. Bring a busload. Bring your Christian and Jewish friends April 11th, 1:00 pm, Crawford, Texas. Plan to arrive early. This Saudi-originated plan must be stopped.”

Dr. Ron Beals, well-known physician, who is coordinating the Tyler area of Texas said:

“In the Bible, the Creator tells us in Leviticus 25:23 that He owns the land and it may not be sold. He has set Israel's Biblical borders of the land, including Gaza, in Numbers 34. The scriptures tell us that He gave the land in a trust relationship to the Jewish people and ONLY the Jewish People. The Creator has also told us in Joel 3:2 that He would bring judgment on those who divide His land. I feel it is like shaking your fist at the Lord to ignore His commands and words. No one has the right to give away His land.”

For further information, contact Pastor Jim Vineyard at 405-943-3326 or email whbc@windsorhills.org to RSVP.
He is the coordinator of this extensive effort to alert decision makers to the flaws within the Road Map and the Disengagement Plan and to get people to the rally in Crawford.

The Shin Bet security service has raised the level of alert in Jerusalem

on the mosques of the Temple Mount, and on the basis of new intelligence
has beefed up police and security around the site in the heart of the
Old City.

protection of the Al-Aqsa mosque the centerpiece of its activities, has

Tue Apr 5, 2:43 PM ET

PARIS (AFP) - Those who say eclipses herald history-shaping events will
find support for their superstition when, on Friday, the Sun will be
briefly plunged into darkness on the day of Pope John Paul

II's funeral.

Astronomers, though, say the eclipse, while of a rare and intriguing
type, was calculated long ago and is simply part of a ballet in
celestial physics between the Sun, Earth and Moon.

It will be visible on Friday along an arc ranging from the southwestern
Pacific to South America, at a time it will already be night in Rome....more

By Nathan Guttman and Aluf Benn, Haaretz Correspondents
05/04/2005

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was expected to bring up
Israel's plan to connect Ma'aleh Adumim to Jerusalem at her meeting
Monday night with Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's advisor, Dov Weissglas,
the State Department said Monday.

The meeting was scheduled to take place after press time. But a State
Department spokeswoman, speaking a few hours before the meeting, said
the plan would definitely be on the agenda.

Her comment came hours after Sharon reportedly told the Knesset Foreign
Affairs and Defense Committee that Israel should press forward with the
plan despite American and Palestinian objections

View Article  Italy ratifies European Constitution
07.04.2005 By Honor Mahony

Italy became the first major EU country to ratify the European
Constitution following a parliamentary vote on Wednesday.

A vote by the upper house saw 217 vote in favour and 16 against the new
EU charter - the lower house had voted in favour in January.

The European Commission welcomed the news saying it was "pleased about
this ratification" and noted that Italy is the first of the six founding
members of the EU to ratify.

This brings the number of countries that have ratified the document to
four. Hungary, Lithuania and Slovenia also gave the green light to the
EU charter via their parliaments while Spanish citizens voted on it in a
referendum in February - but the parliament is also expected to
rubberstamp it.

On one of Pope John Paul II's last major trips four years ago, he stood
in the ancient Omayyad Mosque in Syria and appealed for Christians and
Muslims to seek common ground rather than confrontation.

"May the hearts of Christians and Muslims turn to one another with
feelings of brotherhood and friendship," urged the pontiff, the first
pope to enter a Muslim place of worship.

April 6, 2005 -- Lancaster General Hospital in Pennsylvania is using an
RFID-based tracking system from PeriOptimum and Radianse to track
patients in its new orthopedic center.

The solution combines PeriOptimum's PathFinder software for tracking
patients, equipment and processes, and Radianse's active RFID location
technology.

The 119,500 square-foot, three-story orthopedic center houses 10
operating rooms and 42 inpatient beds dedicated to pre- and
post-operative care, and a post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). The new
center processes between 30 and 40 orthopedic patients a day, and is
expected to perform 9,000 such procedures this year.

In a Heritage Foundation address
to be
broadcast on C-Span, author Jerome Corsi warned events are unfolding
that likely will lead to a showdown with Iran this year.

The United States and Europe are working toward peaceful change, but
President Bush has said he will not accept another promise from Tehran
to not build nuclear weapons unless it's accompanied by specific
actions, said Corsi, author of "Atomic Iran: How the Terrorist Regime
Bought the Bomb and American Politicians

JERUSALEM – Jerusalem's city engineer yesterday canceled plans to build
a Jewish neighborhood in the eastern section of the city, saying Jewish
construction in the largely Arab neighborhood cannot continue – thus
fueling further speculation Israel might withdraw from eastern Jerusalem
in the future.

"It will not be possible to build new residential neighborhoods or to
expand construction of Jewish neighborhoods in East Jerusalem,"
Jerusalem's city engineer, Uri Shitrit, said yesterday. "It would not be
right to build Jewish neighborhoods today, side by side with Arab
neighborhoods in Jerusalem."
