Uzi Mahnaimi, Tel Aviv
IRAN has promised a reward of $10,000 (£5,600) to Islamic Jihad if the
militant group launches rockets from the West Bank towards Tel Aviv, a
senior Palestinian intelligence official said last week.
Speaking in his Ramallah office, the official produced a fat wad of
$100 notes which he said had been confiscated from a pro-Iranian
Islamic Jihad activist.
The money was said to have gone from Iran to Damascus, the Syrian
capital, from where Ibrahim Shehadeh, Islamic Jihad’s head of overseas
operations, transferred it to the West Bank.
According to the intelligence official, the Palestinian Authority has
located workshops where “Al-Quds” (Jerusalem) rockets are being made
and has given their co-ordinates to the Israelis. “We understand they
destroyed some of them,” he said.

28 October 2005 – United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan and the
other principles of the Diplomatic Quartet today consulted on the
latest violence in the Middle East, condemning Wednesday's terrorist
attack in Israel claimed by the Damascus-based Palestinian Islamic
Jihad and calling on Syria to take immediate action against the group.

Some statistics to keep in mind before we begin: Texas covers about 268,000 square miles. Israel covers about 8,000 square miles. About 34 Israels fit inside of Texas. The almost two dozen nations which make up the "Arab World" cover over 6,000,000 square miles of territory--land mostly conquered and forcibly Arabized in the name of the Arab nation and/or the Dar ul-Islam from mostly non-Arab peoples. Abu Mazen came a callin' the other day. The Holocaust denyin', sweet-talkin' Arafatian in a suit and darlin' of the West, Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas, came to visit Dubya and to demand yet more one-sided concessions from the Jews. He's got them on the run, ya know...Lebanon, Gaza and all that. Strike while the iron's hot (and the Jews can't seem to muster the backbone to do what must be done regardless of whose hypocritical feathers get ruffled)! Read More Friday, October 28

The Times October 28, 2005 Blair hints at military action after Iran's 'disgraceful' taunt By Philip Webster, Political Editor President's call for Israel to be 'wiped off the map' is condemned by leaders across the world TONY BLAIR gave warning last night that the West might have to take military action against Iran after worldwide condemnation of its President’s call for Israel to be “wiped off the map”. Ending a one-day European Union summit, the Prime Minister called the explosive declaration by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday a disgrace. Promising discussions with Washington and other allies over how to react, Mr Blair said that he had often been urged not to take action against Iran. But he added: “If they carry on like this the question people will be asking us is — when are you going to do something about Iran? Can you imagine a State like that with an attitude like that having nuclear weapons?” Read More

CBN.com – What about Halloween?
![]() Should you and I be involved in the celebration of Halloween? Finding the answer to this question has been an interesting journey in itself. I interviewed several people and then researched what many leading Christian writers, authors and spokesmen have written about the subject. I also searched various websites like www.christianitytoday.com, www.focusonthefamily.org, and www.cbn.com to read what others might be saying. What I found was an agreement on the origins of Halloween, but a mixture of recommendations about allowing our children to participate in this super-charged media driven holiday. Read More |
