Could it possibly happen that, after the horrendous failure and
enormous expense of the 'disengagement' from Gush Katif, KADIMA would -
in the waning days of Ehud Olmert - agree in principle to two more Gush
Katifs?
Agreeing to withdraw from the entire Golan Heights and from large parts
of Judea and Samaria will again force faithful residents out of their,
often self-built homes
Already a number of blind politicians and commentators are using
misleading words about a near breakthrough for peace with Syrian
President Bashar Assad and PLO leader Abu Mazen. This when everyone
should know that the so-called peace after the withdrawals from the
Golan and Judea and Samaria - as happened after the withdrawal from
Gush Katif - will only bring Assad's nerve-gas-tipped Scud missiles and
Hamas rockets that much closer to the populations centers of Israel!
Will this be the Kadima leadership's legacy as they enter into their
last months of government?
Kadima was born in sin and rebellion, based on the sorrow, blood and
tears of some of Israel's finest men, women and children - the lawful
inhabitants of Gush Katif! And not only was it based on the cruel

A tragic peace process turned to farce last weekend. After bloody clashes between Hamas and Fatah loyalists in the Gaza strip killed 11 Palestinians and injured 120 more, nearly 200 Palestinians associated with Fatah sought asylum in Israel. Some have been transferred to the West Bank cities of Jericho and Ramallah, where they are now under the jurisdiction of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Dozens more who were considered unwelcome by Mr. Abbas's office were anxiously awaiting possible deportation back to Gaza. The only thing that saved them from this fate was an appeal by the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, which petitioned the Supreme Court to prevent the government from sending the Fatah refugees back to Gaza.
