Come join the Battalion of Deborah in the most unique tour of the Land of Israel. Not only discover the ancient Biblical sites, but discover the modern day Israel just as the prophet Isaiah foretold thousands of years ago. You will see this scripture come to life when you enter the Independence Hall where the place remains just as it was in 1948 where Ben Gurion made the announcement that traveled across the world,  Israel was born today. Then from there we will see a  a major player who lead up to this event that few Christians have ever heard of, "Ze'ev Jabotinsky - Historical Life-Span".  The Jabotinsky Museum.
On display is Jabotinsky's life within its historical connection, emphasizing his political and educational activities in service of Zionism, as well as his Hebrew cultural and literary heritage.Click Here
We will go to the hospital, Assaf Harofeh Medical Center where we will have lunch, meet staff, and see first hand the medical side of Israel that we support.
This tour will cover all facets of Israel in their unique setting.
We will leave the hospital and head toward the Golan Heights where we will be staying  at Kibbutz Hagoshrim, a unique Kibbutz hotel with a view of  Mount Hermon. Click Here
Day 2 Monday Feb.18.
This day you will experience the side of Israel most will never get to experience. The strategic tank division  the "Barak Brigade."
You will be assigned to various bases throughout the Golan. There  you will be issued  IDF uniforms. Our jobs will vary from base to base from painting , cleaning , interacting with the soldiers, and most of all loving these soldiers and encouraging these young men, and women.
Each morning the IDF will pick us up and go to our assigned base, we will spend all day there, eat lunch  with soldiers, this will be the best food of the trip.
Day 3 Tuesday Feb. 19
We will return to the base and continue our duties there, and enjoy the Golan Heights setting where we will visit many areas of interest. Then off to the Sea of Galilee .where we will stay two nights at the Kibbutz Maagan over looking the sea of Galilee. Here we will be able to visit many sites of the Galilee including most of Jesus's favorite areas like Capernaum, even Mark and Matthew referred to this as Jesus' hometown.  Mount of Beatitudes, where the famous sermon on the mount from Matthew 5. While there we will enjoy a night time boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.
Day. 4 Wednesday Feb 20
We will continue our journey of the Galilee region seeing all the historical sites of this region and having a time at the Jordan river. The ones who want to be Baptized will have this opportunity.
This is the great time to relax and get a real understanding why Jesus loved this place so much.
Day 5 Thurs. Feb. 21
Today we leave the Galilee and go through the Jordan valley and down to the Dead Sea. Here we will be visiting Masada.  This was another fortress of Herod, later becoming a place of safety for the Zealots when Titus and his Roman army tried to overtake them. Rather than going under the hands of such a maniac, suicide was the better option.
We will now leave  Masada and drive South to Kfar Hanokdim Bedouin Village to experience a life of the Bedouin.
There we will journey on donkeys  and camels to an oasis in the middle of the Judean desert. Here we will have the most unusual night of this trip. We will be spending the night for a real desert experience , in a Bedouin tent communal style. For those who are not so brave, there will be a hotel option for an added fee. Click Here
Day 6 Friday Feb. 22
Up to Zion ! Jerusalem bound where we will be staying  the remainder of our trip at the King Solomon Hotel. We will visit the Jewish Quarters, meet up with our friends Moshe and Dov Kempinski shop, then  we will go to the new area for the Temple Institute to view the High Priest Crown, then take a tour of the controversial digging near Magrabi gate where many second Temple remains have been discovered. We will
then have a late lunch and stroll Ben Yehuda. Then we will head back and open Shabbat at the Kotel where we can see first hand the joy of the Sabbath.
Day 7 Saturday Feb. 23
This is the time to visit our Christian sites, the Garden Tomb. the Upper Room on Mount Zion. Pool of Bethesda. Lunch in the old City and free time to enjoy the buying and bargaining with shop owners.
Then off to the Mount of Olives, walking down the mountain to the Garden of Gethsemane. House of Caiaphas
Day 8 Sunday Feb. 24
Here we will continue to see Jerusalem sites catch up on shopping, and going to areas we never got to experience,taking a moment to shop the open market near Ben Yehuda market to buy  fresh vegetables, fruit, and so much more.You will feel first hand the atmosphere of an Isralies every day life.
Day 9 Monday Feb. 25
The Battalion never wants to leave out the areas of the settlements who we all love and support. This year will be no different .
We will travel to the area of Shechem on an armored bus along with our great fighter of the land, Elyakim HaEtzni. There we will  visit community Har Bracha, and Elom Moreh where 200 families reside. We will be greeted by Ephraim Bluth who will  guide us through this  unique yeshiva where young men combine advance Bible studies with service of the  Israel Defense  Force. The yeshiva will greet us, and introduce us to an  atmosphere most have ever encountered. Click Here
From the yeshiva we will head toward the area of the Samaritans and visit the temple ruins of Mount Gerizim. The Samaritans are a small ethnic group who consider themselves descendants from the Israelites . They believe only in the five books of Moses and practice the rites mentioned in the Torah.  They still perform Passover sacrifice even today.
Day 10 Tues. Feb.26
We will finalize our tour with free time in the Old City, then going to Menachem Begin Center where you will feel a part of this time, this museum will capture history where you can grasp the real fight and how he was a major part of shaping the history as we know it. Click Here
Then we will leave there and tour the Supreme Court. This is another unique building filled with history and future which  will answer many questions you have as why many leaders make the choiceof direction they do.  Click Here
We will go back to the hotel for a farewell dinner and off to the airport.
To top off our tour we will have special speakers from time to time. You will hear from Knesset members, settlement leaders, representative from Gush Katif, plus officers from the IDF.  
The Battalion always combines tours with solidarity. Each tour we help many areas of Israel. One, we will be taking offerings for the people of Gush Katif. We want to be assured each one has a blessed Passover, so we will be taking offerings before we go to give to the Rabbi to assure each of them have a great meal for Passover.
